A CALL TO ALL BISHOPS, AND OTHERS, WHO ARE ZEALOUS FOR THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER, &c.

John Anderdon, 1670
{Width: 5-1/2"; Height: 7"; Thickness: 8-sheets}

     The complete title to this work is: A CALL TO ALL BISHOPS, AND OTHERS, WHO ARE ZEALOUS FOR THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER, &c. (for which I have been also sometimes zealous) By way of rememberance, now to come to the Way of the Quakers to the Grace of God, to the Light and Spirit of the Lord, &c, which they so often in words have prayed for and desired, as may appear by the ensuing Relation, and Collection out of the Book of Common Prayer, compared with the Principle and Practice of the People called QUAKERS.
     This, like the item titled: Innocency Cleared, was a pamphlet written by a Quaker to promote that faith. Although it is not stated as such, it is probable that this, like the other work, was written in prison and published by a friend of the prisoner; it is dated: The 13th of the 7th Moneth, 1670.
