     This book, Cornelius Nepos's lives of the excellent commanders was published in London and is noted as the Editio Altera, or Second Edition. An edition was found on the internet which was noted as the Twelfth Edition, also printed in 1773. That edition, translated by John Clarke, had parallel latin and English texts. This one, translated by Augustinus van Staveren, is solely in Latin.
