This volume includes the text of, and commentary on, the first two books of Moses. It is an exigetical (i.e. critical interpretation) study of the Bible. The nineteen volumes of the Bibel-Werk were completed between 1749 and 1770.
The book was published at Leipzig by Berlegs Bernhard Christoph Breitkops. The author, Romanus Teller, was born in the year 1703 and died in 1750. He started this project in the year prior to his death, and his son, Wilhelm Abraham Teller (born on 09 January 1734 at Liepzig and died 09 December 1804) continued the project his father had begun.
