     This Bible was printed at Nurnberg (i.e. Nuremberg) by Johann Andrea Endters. The theologian, Johann Dilherr (1604-1669), wrote the preface for this Bible, giving the book its name of the Dilherr Bible. Dilherr was a professor at Jena, and served as a preacher at St. Sebald in Nuremberg.
     This Bible consists of 1,181 numbered pages and thirty-seven unnumbered pages. In addition to eight full copperplate engravings, there are one hundred and forty-four woodcuts throughout the text.
